In 1999 the first ever portrait of a common human being was drawn by the two artists Timo Pitkämö and Tobias Kipp using a common sparkler on a common sheet of paper. This procedure was named pyrography.
Since that day, the tow artists generated more than 15,000 fiery portraits on over 500 burning occasions. One fiery portrait takes about 84 seconds to make.
